The Role
This is a high-velocity outbound role with serious upside for the right person. As our first or second SDR, you will be building the outbound motion from the ground up, crafting sequences, testing messages, qualifying leads, and booking demos that convert.
You will work closely with founders and our Forward Deployed Strategists. There is a clear path to Account Executive or GTM Lead for anyone who hits quota consistently.
What You'll Do
Own top-of-funnel pipeline generation: prospecting, outreach, qualification, and demo booking
Build and execute multi-touch outbound sequences across email, LinkedIn, and X (Twitter)
Target ICPs: technical founders (YC/a16z-backed), indie hackers, AI startup CTOs, DevOps leads at growth-stage companies
Qualify inbound leads and route them to the right conversion path (self-serve vs. sales-assist vs. enterprise)
Manage outreach to 80 to 120 prospects per week with personalized, technically-grounded messaging
A/B test subject lines, messaging angles, and CTAs; report weekly on what is working
Maintain clean CRM hygiene: every touch, every outcome, every signal logged
Collaborate on creating outreach assets: battle cards, case studies, objection-handling playbooks
Represent CreateOS at virtual and in-person developer events (hackathons, demo days, community meetups)
Use AI agents and automation tools to research prospects, personalize at scale, and manage follow-up sequences
What We're Looking For
Must Have:
1 to 3 years of outbound sales or BDR/SDR experience, ideally at a B2B SaaS or dev tools company
Exceptional written communication; your cold emails get replies
Basic technical literacy: you understand what deployment, APIs, and CI/CD mean
Resilience and velocity: you treat rejection as a data point, not a defeat
Organized and self-driven: comfortable working async across time zones
Strong Plus:
Experience selling to developer or technical buyer personas
Familiarity with AI tooling ecosystem (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Vercel)
Ability to communicate fluently with global developer communities (multilingual a plus)
Prior experience in a founder-led sales motion
