Brand handbook
Logos, colour, type, and the rules for using them. Everything here is cleared for outside use.
Principles
Proof over adjectives
Every claim earns its place by being followed within two sentences by a specific number, a named customer, or something a reader can verify. Adjectives are what you use when you have none of those.
Restraint over decoration
One accent colour, two typefaces, no gradients, no ornament. A page that has to decorate itself is a page that is not saying enough.
Plain words over category language
Name the real action: route, govern, validate, deploy. Buyers in regulated industries have read every AI brochure already, and they discount the vocabulary on sight.
Logo
The CreateOS logo is a lockup: the NodeOps symbol followed by the CreateOS wordmark. Use the lockup whole. It is the only approved form of the CreateOS logo.
Do
- Use the full lockup wherever it fits. It is the default.
- Render at 24px tall or larger on screen, 12mm or larger in print.
- Use black on light surfaces and white on dark ones. Nothing else.
- Scale the whole lockup together, at its original proportions.
Do not
- Do not use the wordmark on its own. It is not a logo without the symbol.
- Do not recolour, add a gradient, outline, shadow, or glow.
- Do not stretch, rotate, skew, or rebuild the wordmark in another typeface.
- Do not place the logo on a busy image or a colour that leaves it hard to read.
- Do not enclose it in a box or add a tagline underneath.
Symbol
The symbol stands alone only where the lockup will not fit: app icons, avatars, favicons, and tiles under roughly 64px. It is the NodeOps house mark, shared across NodeOps products, so it identifies the family rather than CreateOS specifically. When there is room for the lockup, use the lockup.
Profile picture
Opaque onyx ground. Upload this one: a transparent PNG turns into a black or white blob depending on the platform.
All three files are square and 1024 by 1024, centred with room for a circular crop, so they upload straight into a profile picture or an app icon slot.
Clear space
Keep clear space on all four sides equal to the height of the symbol. Nothing enters that margin: no text, no rule, no edge of a photograph. When in doubt, give it more.
Colour
CreateOS blue is the single accent. Onyx carries dark surfaces and foreground text. Everything else is neutral, so the accent keeps its weight.

Writing about CreateOS
The approved short and long boilerplate, naming, voice and tone, preferred and banned vocabulary, the proof points this site may cite, and the rules on what may be claimed. All of it is in the Markdown version of this page, which is also what an agent should read.
