Common Questions

Is Huawei AgentSphere available to developers outside China?

Not yet as a documented product. Huawei announced AgentArts as an open beta, with commercial availability outside China announced for 30 December. No public AgentSphere sandbox docs, pricing or SDK were found on Huawei's own sites as of 17 October 2026.

How does Huawei AgentSphere isolate agent code?

Huawei describes ultra-lightweight sandbox technology but does not name it in its announcements. CreateOS Sandbox runs each sandbox in a Firecracker micro-VM with its own guest kernel, root filesystem and network identity, and sandboxes cannot reach each other unless placed on the same private network.

Can I self-host Huawei's agent platform?

Partly. AgentArts has an open-source edition, openJiuwen, which Huawei says shares over 90% of its kernel with the enterprise edition. Self-hosting the AgentSphere sandbox itself is not published. CreateOS self-hosting and BYOC are available to enterprise customers only, onboarded by our team.
