CreateOS Sandbox vs NAVER Cloud

NAVER Cloud is the right call when infrastructure must sit in Korea under Korean compliance regimes such as ISMS-P and CSAP, or when you want separate government and financial clouds. CreateOS Sandbox is the right call when code needs short-lived, isolated machines created per task with per-second billing. NAVER's servers are long-lived and limited per account by server type.

Pricing at a Glance

CreateOS rates verified 17 October 2026. NAVER Cloud pricing as published on 17 October 2026. Rates billed per GB rather than per GiB, or as bundled sizes, are quoted as published rather than converted.

NAVER Cloud

Most NAVER Cloud server prices render client-side and could not be read; the static CPU Intensive-g2 example ci16-g2-h100 (16 vCPU, 32 GB, 100 GB) is KRW 836/hour or KRW 601,280/month excl. VAT, as of 17 October 2026.

Where CreateOS Sandbox Fits Better

What CreateOS Sandbox brings to this matchup, with a plain note on where NAVER Cloud has the edge.

Memory-state pause and fork, where NAVER's storage snapshots and server images copy disk data only.

Per-second billing with published USD rates, against hourly or monthly billing in KRW.

Hostname egress rules; NAVER ACGs filter by protocol, source or destination IP or ACG, and port.

Where NAVER Cloud is strong

A Korean hyperscale cloud with a long list of certifications (ISO 27001 family, SOC 1/2/3, ISMS-P and CSAP, vendor-stated), separate government and financial clouds, and GPUs up to 8x H100 or H200 with cluster networking.

Which to Pick

Pick CreateOS Sandbox if

  • You create and discard environments per agent task.
  • You want sandboxes paused with memory kept, then resumed or forked.
  • You want outbound limited to named hosts by a rule outside the VM.

Pick NAVER Cloud if

  • You must host in Korea under ISMS-P or CSAP.
  • You need multi-GPU A100, H100 or H200 servers with Fabric Cluster networking.
  • You want Korean-language support and KRW billing.

Common Questions

Does NAVER Cloud have a free server?

Yes, with limits. The Micro server (1 vCPU, 1 GB) is free for one year from first payment registration, one per account, in the Korea region, for residents of Korea only; public IP, network and extra disk are still charged. CreateOS's Free plan needs no card and includes 500 credits.

Are NAVER Cloud servers blocked outbound by default?

It depends on the ACG. NAVER's docs say an ACG you create has no default inbound or outbound rules, and packets from the server may be blocked without outbound rules. A CreateOS sandbox is open outbound with an empty rule list and deny-by-default once you add a rule.

How many servers can I create on NAVER Cloud compared with CreateOS sandboxes?

NAVER sets per-account creation limits that vary by server type, country and member type, and the Micro server is limited to one per account. CreateOS caps concurrent sandboxes at 1, 5, 20 or 30 by plan and daily creates at 10, 50, 200 or 300.
