CreateOS Sandbox vs Manus Cloud Computer
Manus Cloud Computer suits Manus users who want their agent to keep a bot, site or database running 24/7 on a dedicated public IP for a flat monthly fee. CreateOS Sandbox suits developers who create sandboxes from their own code for their own agents or users, billed per second, with pause, fork and egress rules.

Common Questions
Is Manus Cloud Computer the same as the Manus task sandbox?
No. Cloud Computer is an always-on Ubuntu VM sold as a monthly add-on, separate from the temporary sandbox Manus uses per task. CreateOS Sandbox is a standalone sandbox service you drive yourself through SDKs, a CLI or REST.
What happens to a Manus Cloud Computer when the subscription ends?
The VM shuts down and its data is deleted; the features page says it is suspended first and deleted if not reactivated within 30 days. A CreateOS sandbox keeps running, or stays paused, until you destroy it.
Can free Manus accounts create a Cloud Computer?
No. Team free-tier accounts cannot create one, and plans start at $30/month. CreateOS Sandbox has a Free plan with 500 credits, one concurrent sandbox and no card required.
