A Key Account Manager at Amazon Launched a Wedding Platform Without Writing Code
A curated wedding experience platform for destination weddings and inter-caste marriage planning, deployed same day. Estimated at a week of work; finished in hours.
The Problem
Destination weddings and inter-caste marriages share a problem: they need coordination across cultures, vendors, locations, and logistics that no existing platform handles well. Gunjan had been developing Riyasat as a curated wedding experience platform organized by region and cultural context, built to be a one-stop solution for couples planning complex cross-cultural celebrations.
The idea was clear. The path to building it wasn't. With no engineering background, she'd have needed to find developers, brief them, wait on iterations, and manage a project across multiple parties before a single user could touch it. Her own estimate: a week minimum, just to get a first version.
The Build
CreateOS closed the gap in one session. Gunjan described the platform: sections by state and cultural context, built for couples planning destination weddings or inter-caste celebrations. We handled the architecture and build logic, producing a first version she could review and confirm.
The platform deployed through GitHub the same day the idea was first described. Version one is live and in use.
“When you think of starting something and it actually happens, it's indeed a very magical feeling. This entire thing would have taken me a week very easily. To finalise everything, to find people who can build an app for me, to curate everything in one place. So it's really great.”

Builder profile
Gunjan is a Key Account Manager at Amazon. She isn't a developer and had no path to executing the idea she'd been carrying. The CreateOS team found her at a Bangalore cafe, mid-thought on the concept, and the conversation moved quickly from idea to build.
