Visual Quality Inspection

Inspect products against your quality standard and route anything out of spec for a person to check.

What It Does

The agent compares each item reaching the inspection station against the quality standard for that product and raises a nonconformance with the captured image and the failed check attached. Out-of-spec items land in the review queue, and whether the line holds is a person's call.Without it: Consistent visual inspection is hard to staff and harder to keep uniform across shifts and sites.

Applies the standard revision in force for that product on that date
Passing items are logged and released without opening a queue entry
Readings sitting on the limit are queued as marginal, never scored a pass
Repeat failures on one check within a run collapse into a single nonconformance

Illustrative example

Casing CX-220, serial 88134, reaches the station and the seal-bead check reads 1.9 mm against a 2.2 to 2.6 mm standard. The agent opens a nonconformance with the image, the failed check, and the standard revision it read from. The line keeps running until the inspection supervisor works the queue and calls the hold.
