What It Does
The agent extracts reusable clauses and positions from prior work, organizes them into a precedent bank, and links each to its source matter. A lawyer approves what enters the playbook.Without it: Hard-won language and standard positions sit scattered across old matters, so teams redraft what the firm already solved.

Illustrative example
Matter 2023-M-940 closes and the agent lifts the negotiated limitation-of-liability clause, strips the counterparty name and contract value, and files it beside the four earlier variants of that position. It marks this one as conceded late in negotiation at two times fees rather than the playbook's one. The head of legal operations sees it pending in the bank and decides whether the fallback position should move.
