Regulatory Filing Review

Check filings against requirements before they go out, and flag gaps for a person to resolve.

What It Does

The agent checks each filing against the relevant requirements, flags missing or inconsistent items, and logs the review for the record.Without it: Filings fail on small, avoidable errors that are hard to catch by eye under time pressure.

  • Checks against the requirement version in force on the submission date
  • Cross-checks figures that repeat across schedules, exhibits, and the cover sheet
  • Separates a missing exhibit from a formatting failure the portal will reject
  • The audit log records requirement version, timestamp, and every check that ran

Illustrative example

A quarterly Form ADV amendment is finished three days before its deadline. The agent runs it against the requirement set in force for that filing date, flags that assets under management in Item 5 disagree with the figure in Schedule D, and flags Exhibit B as referenced but absent. The compliance officer gets both flags and the logged check record, and decides what to correct before anyone opens the portal.
